This looks like Lucy herself:


Name: Lucy A Clack
Year of Registration: 1913
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
Mother's Maiden Name: Brown
District: Brentford
County: Middlesex
Volume: 3a
Page: 204


and the birth cert would give her mother's full name, if one of the people at GR that Lew mentions doesn't have the info.


FreeBMD shows no William Clack (or any Clack) marrying a Brown anywhere, anytime after 1885.

And in 1901 there were several William Clacks in the vicinity of Brenford, so too hard to guess.

The birth certificate seems like the only way to get the official answer for Lucy's mother's name, and maybe something about William, like occupation, that might help identify him. Contacting a GR member first is cheaper!

im trying to find info on my grandmother her name was lucy ann clack she was born in 1913 on 3rd march in middx/brentford/twickenham area and i know her farther was called william clack and her mothers madien name was brown any help greatfully recived thanks..!!!!!!!!
