i am trying to trace my grandmother wilhelmina pickett of southampton,she had my father james leonard pickett in 1908 at 1 botley rd. west end southampton.there is no fathers name on the birth certificate.she was regestered by geo. o.wood owner of the property.she is down as a servant.any information would be appreciated |

Hi Bob the birth record brought up a Wilhelmina Kate Pickett b Southampton 1883 April-June vol 2c page 45 |

hi sue,i found wilhelmina kate pickett,she seemed to have moved of the face of the earth,or moved out of england.wilhelmina drake pickett(nee pike)husband earnest died in 1917.it this one on my fathers birth cert.1908.its unusual not to have the full name on a birth cert..so i dont know if she had a middle name.sorry if i interrupted your dinner.thanks for trying good luck bob |
