Find Ancestors

Hi, I'm trying find some info about Olive Rees. She would have been born in c. 1926 (she later married my Grandfather (Ronald Buckfield) who was born in 1926), although we're not sure where. They married in 1947 in Bognor Regis and divorced in 1962. She later remarried to a Terry (possibly Terence) Flood and died in the 70s in Croydon, Surrey. I've looked for her birth record but can't find anything. If anyone can find the references for her birth, marriage or death I'd be very grateful!

Any idea where Olive was born, or has she any middle names, lots of Olive Rees's when I searched 1924-1928, need to narrow down a bit

My aunt (her daughter) mentioned Newcastle (she wasn't sure if she was confusing her with someone else though) but my dad said 'up north' he thinks Sunderland too. That's all we know :S

looked from 1970-1977 inc for a death of Olive Flood -nothing found that ties with a 1920,s birthdate

That's odd, I can't see her either, my aunt was sure she'd died then from cancer..maybe later? I don't know much about her but my aunt wanted info about her mum who she didn't really know. Quite possible she's not got the years right I guess..she said she was in her 50s when she died though, whenever she died..:S

Sorry to be a pain, but can you see her second marriage?? Terry Flood in Croydon after 16th October 1962 should be (I have her divorce thingy lol, which is why I'm so precise on that). They also had a daughter, Karen...I think my aunt would like to know about her too!

She was a Flood according to my mum, she would have been born in 1963/4 probably, if my mum is to be believed.

And my aunt actually joked on the phone that knowing her she'd have married the next day!!
