Hello Andrew

I am going to the SA on the 1st December if thats any good?

Only problem is that I will have to get the original parish records out which they dont do on Saturdays. I can ring them up and order it so it will be there for me to look at on the 1st December but it means I get one chance for you so you have to be sure it will be in the Greasbrough records.

They have only fiched the records for most if not all parishes up to about 1901/2 so after that, its the originals.

Regards
Claire

Hi,
This is a cheeky request I know.....but.....
Is any kind person visiting Sheffield Archives soon and would be able to look up the marriage details on a fiche please for me for the following couple? I feel certain it will be in the GREASBOROUGH PARISH records.

HELENA AIREY to ROBERT MITCHELL
December quarter 1915
Ref Sheffield 9c 1496

I live at the other end of the country and just need Helena's father's name from the marriage certificate. I am completing a tree as Christmas gift and whilst I know I can send for the certificate, I just wondered if anyone could help me.
I know I'm asking a lot....sorry.
Many thanks,
Andy
