Sorry all, was "surfing" looking for more ancestors, didn't think you guys would answer so fast. I am new at this.

His name was Thomas Nolan and his birth date was 1889 if that helps.

Can anyone tell me how I can find out the date of my grandfathers death.

All I know is that he drowned in a "dry dock" in Liverpool/Bootle and was swept out to sea with the ship.

it was between 1930 -1945??

Were could I find the records?
