he was born 1876/ in the 1881 census they are living in joynson street salford. esther was born in carlisle 1833

Here is a marriage but how do you know it is the right one?
Surely you need a birth cert for one of their children?

Have you looked on Freebmd as there is a possible marriage in 1860 in Salford

can any one find the marriage of a JOSEPH YATES / wife is ESTHER? the marriage was possibly in salford either side of 1860.
i am looking for ESTHER'S maiden name. any help is appreciated
