yes, I've seen that one thanks. I checked it first but it's not the right part of Somerset. Thanks anyway.

Does anybody have access to parish records for the Wedmore and surrounding areas (Mark, Bleadney, Blackford, Panborough, Theale, Weare, Badgworth etc) in Somerset?? I am planning a visit to the Records Office in Taunton but wondered if there was any help on-line first. I am interested in any information about Richard Jenkins c1730 - 1800, believed to have married Jane Lane c1751 - would like to discover information about Richards parents in particular. Also, I believe Richard had a son Richard (amongst others) c1761 who later married Unity Urch c1799. I think I have discovered a son of Richard and Unity's - John Jenkins born about 1800. Any information about this John would be excellent as I am trying to prove that he went on to become a butcher and married Elizabeth (unknown). I have gathered the above info from parish records of Wedmore and Mark that are already on-line but I have various missing and sometimes dubious links that I suspect are lying in the registers of other parishes nearby. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
