That's the one I've found - I don't for definite that she's the one I'm after, but I'm hoping a parish record will save £7 for a certificate! I know her name is Alice Blanche Smith, and it's not the one born in Malton, Yorks, in 1907. That leaves only the 1909 Norwich Alice, and an Alice B Smith in Wandsworth, 1910 that I can see...

Do you have her birth ref? You can buy her birth cert for £7 from GRO online using the ref: That will give both mums maiden name and dads name plus occupation and the address for the birth.

Does anyone out there have access to parish records for Norwich for the 1901-1913 period? Specifically I'm searching for an Alice Blanche Smith born 1909 in Norwich... Any help gratefully received!
