Guessed wrong. ;)

Found the right ones, and unfortunately they've been transcribed correctly, so nobody's left any notes.

(If you do sign on, hint: leave notes all over all your ancestors' records -- middle names, birth surnames, whatever you've got. And of course corrections to the hellacious mistranscriptions. That way, unknown long-lost distant cousins searching for the same people will serendipitously find you too! I've met several that way, as well as here at GR.)

So anyhow, it surely does look like that one's yours:

Name: Arthur Charles Beasley
Year of Registration: 1891
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
District: Warwick (To 1932)
County: Warwickshire
Volume: 6d
Page: 6_7

I checked, and I just dunno. The page number looks like it has a tiny "4" in the middle. You might want to ask other opinions! And then order it up and you'll soon have your answer.

Hi Kathryn
In 1891 the family is as follows
William 36
Elizabeth 35
Sarah Emma 13
Maud Mary 11
William George 9 (my grandad)
Ethell Charlotte 7
Rosa Agnes 2
Charles Arthur 3 months
All born Warwick /leek Wootten / Kenilworth
I am not a member of Ancestry (so far) but I suppose I will have to join at some stage soon!
Thank you for your help,
Dawn

Hi Dawn -- is this the 1891 household?

Arthur C Bearley 10/12
Ellen R Bearley 31
Nelly E Bearley 9
Sarah Bearley 73
Thomas E Bearley 8
William Bearley 32
William D Bearley 3

Someone named Cheryl has corrected the mistranscribed surname at Ancestry, but said only:

"Beasley is correct name"

If you're not subscribed there and would like to contact that person, drop me a note with your email address and I'll pass it on.

Meanwhile -- I've found it quite common for people to go by their middle names in the 19th century, and to convert the unused first name into a middle initial. That could be the case with your Charles A. Beasley.

The age of 10/12 yr. seems exactly right for the Arthur Charles registered 1890 Apr-May-Jun in Newcastle Under Lyme.

Hi. I'm trying to find birth details of Charles Arthur Beasley. On 1891 census he was 3 months old. Born Warwick. The only thing that comes anywhere near it is Arthur Charles b. j/f/m 1891 in records. I have tried 1891 & 1892 but cannot find it. The parents had registered the other 5 children they had.Any help would be appreciated.
