Trying to find information on my grand -father William Albert Stanley Eyles (B) 1888 Sydney, Australia, son of Reuben Eyles and Jemima Woolley. William married Marie K. Haughey in 1910, he re-married my grandmother Ellen Flynn (Noel Dorothy on marriage certificate) in 1921. On both his marriage certificates he changed his name to Albert W.S. Eyles

The Australian Etectoral Roll has listings for Albert William Stanley EYLES

1930, District of East Sydney, Subdistrict of Darlindhurst,
Occupation, Taxi Driver; Address, 41 Womerah Ave.

1936, District of Wentworth, Subdistrict of Rose Bay
Occupation, Taxi Driver Address, 17a Palmer St., Rose Bay

Neither of these enteries lists a wife.

HI Julie,
thanks for the information, I knew he was living at Rockwell Cres. Potts Point between 1926 and 1929 , he was working on the steam ships between Melbourne and Launceston in the late 1920's. I have a copy of his work card ( from national archives ) listing what ships he signed on/ off. I know he died in 1962 at LIdcombe Hospital, my grand-parents seperated in C 1924 and the marriage was dissolved in 1934.
