1841 help please

I'm looking for a James McCormack (or McCormick), birth year about 1837. Father possibly Bernard McCormack a Miller.
Unfortunatly which means I'm not entirely sure where he was born (I'd guess Liverpool, but like so many others in my tree, he could be Irish), but I know 1861 onwards his family are based in the Liverpool area.


That's about the only info I really have; as I have James's family on the censuses 1871-1901, but not him (he was away at sea, and his wife is a widow by 1901),
& his marriage certficate from 1861, gives his father as being deceased.

So I'm clucthing at straws regarding 1841 as I've found two deaths which could be his father.
