Trying to find out what happened to Charles after 1881 when he was living in Enfield, Middlesex with his parents John James & Revina.

I'd like to help you out here but don't know where to start!

Where does the census say he was born? Where were his parents born? Do you have any certificates?

Where were the family in 1871?

What is Charles' occupation? Are there any siblings?

Charles was the son of Revina (numerous spellings!!!) and John James Smith.
Revina was born in Gloucestershire. John in Newington, Surrey. I have both their birth certificates and marriage certificate.
Charles' birth was registered Pancras, Middlesex. He has 4 siblings:-
Edmund B. b1866 - who I also lose track of after 1881
Arthur H 1869 - can track to his marriage in 1905
Gerald L - who died in 1903
Eleanor E - who is still with parents in 1901

The family lived in Tottenham in 1871, and then Enfield and Potters Bar.
In 1881 Charles was listed as a clerk in the timber trade.

Many possibilites for them on census and BMD. Name is too common to be certain.
