Find Ancestors

I have a Clara Annie Wintle b Dec Q 1875 Taynton or Westbury S, Gloucs.

Although not born yet, I have her parents on the 1871 census, Cornelious and Emily Wintle at RG10/2607 Fol 62 Page 1.

I cannot find the family on the 1881 census. I have done as many Wild Cards as possible!!

I have found an Annie Wintle age 16 on the 1891 census, b Westbury Glos, but am not sure on this one.

Cornelious had died by 1901 census and Clara Annie had married Edward Henley. Can be found under her mother Emily Wuilte (note spelling!) b 1848 RG13/2811 Folio 24 Page 39

Can anyone find Clara Annie Wintle on the 1881 census or Clara Annie Wintle on the 1891 census, other than the one I have listed above.

1901 shows a widowed daughter Sarah, aged 28, living with Emily etc

And Clara is listed under her first name.....not her second name.

Thank you for your hard work last night. I turned my computer off at 10pm and then everyone thought about the problem.!!

I think the birth you gave in 1875 of Clara Ann Wintle at Westbury S is correct.
Clara was born in Longhope, which I think is in the reg. district of Westbury S.

Looks like Glitter baby might have found my Clara Annie Wintle on the 1891 census under Winke!!
Must check it out.

Regarding the 1901 census, Clara is listed under her married name 'Clara Henley.

The 1881 one you found, is my problem - I keep coming up against Annie, born in the same area, but she is not my one, as the parents are different.
