May be the guy in Hants who is a Strike is the husband. Someone reckoned it looked like Hazel, but that just isnt a name likely at that time. |

Check images on previous page to Knel, second from the bottom is very similar. Ancestry has transcribed as Hoel, but I bet it's Noel |

I think we probably have an employer doing the census reporting who was following one of the rules for ancestors and guessing at his employee's age, place of birth ... name ... Devon, Hampshire, it's all the same to him. |

Does anyone have information on a Knel E Strike. According to the 1901 census she was born about 1864 in Hampshire, and at the time of the census was living in Streatham, London. |
