dear Potty, Thank you very much for kindly helping me. The census details look like they could be the family that I am looking for.
Would it be possible to tell me the families address, their occupations and where they were all born please.
I will reply as soon as I have picked up the children from school.
Thank you. Shane

I can't see her in 1871, I'm afraid. Maybe she was accidentally missed off?

Dear Angela, I am jealous...where did you get that from! That looks exactly right. Ah I know , it is the first name, I did not think to look for Minna, I was looking for Minnie. You are a genius. Thank you. Shane

Thank you for looking at this message.
I am now trying to find ancestors from my grandfathers line but I am stuck and would appreciate some help please.
Minnie Rebecca Stevens married George Lord in 1883 in Slimbridge Cambridge, Gloucestershire. Her father was Thomas Stevens, a labourer. The witnesses were Thomas and Henrietta Stevens.
On the 1881 census Minnie born ca 1863 in Uley Cambridge, Gloucestershire is living with her ‘parents’ Thomas and Henrietta in Cambridge Gloucestershire but she is not with them on the 1871 census.
In 1891 she is living with her husband and family in Eastington, Gloucestershire. Her age is 28 (bc 1863) and she was born in Uley Gloucestershire.
I have not been able to find a suitable birth reference for Minnie and I would like to find her on the 1871 census please.
I think that Minnies father Thomas married Henrietta Cox in 1861. I believe that this was her second marriage and she was a Gwinnell. Her first husband Joshua Cox died in 1859. I have got all Henrietta’s census details.
I have also got information that I think is for my Thomas Stevens on the 1841 / 51 / 71 and 1881 censuses. He was born ca 1831 in Uley / Cambridge Gloucestershire and living in North Nibley Dursley and Slimbridge Gloucestershire. I would value any help in finding him on the 1861 census please. I think that he may have married Elizabeth as that is the only suitable candidate that I can find looking at the 1861 census information on ancestry but I do not have access to the full record. There is a marriage between Thomas Stevens and possibly Elizabeth Burton in 1851 in Stroud. She may have died in 1859. This is all conjecture though, so I really would like some expert advice.
Thank you.
