He's Philip James Allen, b1922 in Leicester, father's name Wilfred..mother's name Elsie (I believe) He had a brother,Francis (Frank). He married my mother, Patricia (Oswald) in 1948 but they seperated in '49 (when I was born! ) and divorced in c1953/4. I believe he lived in Leytonstone/Wanstead area of E. London and was a postman. I'd love to meet him, or any of his relations, so any information would be gratefully accepted. Michael David Allen.
