Births Sep 1903
Walker Donald ....Medway 2a 775

Medway is the registration area and covers several towns.
It might be better to work back from a marriage or death certificate. You would be taking a chance that it was the right person if you bought a birth certificate with no further information to guide you.

This is his birth registration. With this info you can order his birth cert online at www.gro.gov.uk/. This will give you his parents' names. Then you can search on www.freebmd.org.uk/ for their marriage, which will give you their ages and fathers' names. Then search on the 1901 census for them.
