I have a George Howlett born in 1849 in Wicken Cambs, on the 1891 and 1901 Ancestry census records they have i believe mistranscribed his wifes name and after looking at the original copy as well i am unable to make out what her name is.
Please can anybody try and read what it says, many thanks in advance Rebecca.

I agree with Linda. Her name is Emma. The'y' in the 1891 image is from the 'J' of the John underneath.
