seems his second name was Albon and heres his death ref so he lived to his 70.s

so was born in dec 1920 and his birth registered probably Jan 1921 so it came into the Mar qtr of 1921

legal adoptions didn't start till 1926 .Do you know if Violets first Husband died ,what was her status given as on the later marriage that you know about.

Maybe the child went with the first husband if they separated . i believe too that some sort of addition is added to a child's originalGRO birth ref if they get adopted later, have you got the cert of the child .

I dont know anything about adoptions But if you dont know if the child was adopted then i dont think without any further names you can persue that line of research,I may be wrong tho ,as i say i have no adoption expertise.

could anyone help or advise me i found out that a relitive got married previous to what we knew about and i think i have found a record of a child in tha marrige to say the least i curious as to what happened to the child ive looked at the death records and cant find him ? the mothers name was violet mabel maiden name albon husband at that time arthur b burn they married in romford sept 1919 there is a record of a child born in romford march 1921 so im wondering if he was adopted if so where can i look to find out ?
