Info on death certs is only 'as known' to the informant.......and is often inaccurate

You have looked on the FULL birth index, I assume?

It's possible that the date of birth on a death record could be incorrect. Many times the date of birth is given by the informant and if they really didn't know, it may not be correct.

I have a d/o/b on a death record but when i look for birth registration it does not appear on record. I also have the same problem with a d/o/d but it does not show up on death records what can i do.
