Member Since: October 2007 Posts: 5 Send Message	There is a legend in my family that an ancestor, whilst in the Royal Navy, fought a bout with Jack Sharkey who was then the champion of the U.S. Atlantic fleet. Sharkey turned professional in 1924 and eventually became World Champion. This particular Johnson was probably born in either Preston or Manchester. Does anyone have a family member who fits the bill? Any help or suggestions welcome. Martin Johnson
