Member Since: September 2005 Posts: 9 Send Message	Maggie Carthew (Nee Tonkin) was the sister of Sidney Tonkin who is my paternal grandfather. I never knew him as he fled to the US leaving behind my father & Grandmother Dora Tonkin (Nee Martin) my late father Aubrey was taken into care hence my request is to try to find out what happened to Dora and maybe this family connection could help. This all occured in the 1920's.
