Hi Kathryn

I don't want to appear ungrateful, but I've found out all the information I need and I'm awaiting on Alice's death certificate. that will hopefully give me some further info.

I really looking for any living descendants as Alice's mother (my Dad's Aunty) lived in London siince her teens until she died in 1968.

I've already found one connection to Alice's sister and it seems that the family had no idea where Alice's mother originated from...luckily I do and it's not London..... I have loads of info to share.

I've been researching my Dad's side of the family now for 4 years and I'm now in the proccess of finding living relatives of his aunts and uncles...some seem to be quite elusive, to say the least! But I'm getting there.

No, not a relative, just willing to help out if possible, like other people here who are good at finding stuff.

Yes I know Alice's maiden name and her 2 husband's names and their children.

Searched..on GR and Ancestry.com but can't find any link as yet.

Are you a relative of Alice's then?

Can you provide her birth surname?

It might help find the names of her children, as their births could then be searched for by surname Knott and the mother's birth surname.

I'm looking for any relatives of Alice Matilda Knott (Mrs) who died in London in 1978.


Was she your Grandmother perhaps?

I do know and have proof that Alice was my Dad's cousin.
