In 1901 in Canada there are two who might be candidates:


George Lock
Francis
Ontario, Oxford (North/Nord), Blandford
1848
England
Head

George B Lock
Lilly E
Ontario, Durham (East/Est), Millbrook (Village)

England

Can you give a bit more info?

I can have a look for George in Canadian records, but I need an approx birthdate. If you don't know, then where Frederick was born and/or living as a child, so I can find the household in the 1861 or 71 census and get George's details.

I tried to find them by looking for Frederick in the 1861 census, but I don't know the parents' names or a location, and there are so many Frederick Locks born 1857-59 that I wouldn't know where to begin!

I am trying to find and information on the siblings of my grandfather Frederick Lock (1868 - 1952).

In particularclar, I know that his brother George emigrated, I thought to America, but it now seems that this was Canada.

There was also a sister Mary Ann, who married Joseph Crocker, and was living in Poplar for some time.

As far as I know the complete list of siblings of George & Mary Ann (nee Hunt) is:-
