Please help me find George Nyes parents and/or siblings ( if any)
he was born c1783 (may be a couple of years either way).And died 1855 sussex.
He married Ann Wells in 1801, their children were William 1803, John 1804, Mary 1806, Ann 1806, and Harriott 1810,
I believe he was born in either Cuckfield or Lindfield, Sussex. There is a lot of connection with Lindfield, Sussex area in earlier years with Nyes and i am trying to find if there is a family link between them.
The earliest record i can find is`1861 Cencus which shows his son John, wife and children living in Town Road, Lindfield.
If anyone can help i would be very greatful.

I found a record for a George Nye on the 1851 census. Below him was a family named Simmons (the wife's name was Fanny). Could this be the daughter Fanny above? Also, the occupation for George Nye was Turnpike Gate Keeper.
