I have searched and found an entry for William Willett born abt 1842 and married to Eliza Willett b. abt. 1844 on the 1881 census. To be truthful I have been searching the Willetts for roughly 2 years on and off. I only have a copy of a marriage cert for William willett (SON) b.1842 and a sarah (Annie) Taylor b 1873. They would have been my great grandparents and were married in Strood Kent. I can see them on the 1901 census along with my nan, but cannot seem to get any further back to trace and confirm Eliza and William. I am still very new to all this and dont really know what more I can do apart from keep searching Ancestory for records. Havent found a marriage for this pair since my search began.

For Medway records you can search Cityark - Medway have parish records on line. It will save you a fortune in certs. Site takes a little while to get used to but once you get going it's straightforward.

WILLIAM WILLETT BORN ABT 1871 BRIXTON SURREY MARRIED SEPT 1900 STROOD KENT TO ANNIE (SARAH TAYLOR) DIED 17 MARCH 1947.

LIVED AND DIED NAPIER ROAD GILLINGHAM KENT.

ANY INFORMATION OR LINKS?????
