1851 census- missing husband lookup please

Joan,

thanks.. I saw that one, but Lostwithiel is a fairly well known place, so I thought he would stick with that... anything is possible.. but also strange that he would be a servant when his wife (alone) on the 1851 is deemed to be a shoe-maker's wife.

...curiouser and curiouser!

I've just checked.. its 14 miles to St Ewe from Lostwithiel, so I don't think that can be him, will look in 1861c and see if this Thomas is there...

I can't find Thomas born in St Ewe in 1841 or 1861...

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Can anyone find this missing husband in the 1851 census, I have Grace and her 3 children, but no husband, Thomas. 1861 posted for info, his occupation is a bootmaker/shoemaker.. not a boatmaker!

thanks in advance if anyone can find him... I'm hoping for prison and intrigue!! not a mere visitor!
