I am trying to find information on a Richard McDonough who had a least one son called john born about 1884 in liverpool. On john's marriage certificate richard was a coal heaver but is down as deceased by 1911. The home address on the certificate is Back Grafton Street, Toxteth park. John is my great granfather and richard my great great granfather I would be very grateful of in information at all. Andrea.

I don't think Jenny has the right family there....I found a John McDONOUGH age 17 on the 1901 census born c1884 occupation apprenctice French polisher living with his widowed mother Mary age 54 born Ireland at 9 Back Grafton St.

The head of house is his widowed brother in law Thomas HODSON age 33 and his son Thomas age 10. I'll have a look for Richard on earlier census.
