Terence, please delete either this post or the one in Trying to Find, or post a note in the other thread that you have posted the same query on this board.

Yes, you might be seen by more people by double posting -- but different people may do the same volunteer work to try to help you, and that isn't fair to them.

(I in fact did try to find some info when I read your post in Trying to Find, e.g. marriages of the children you name, or deaths of Patricia or her husband. No apparent deaths, and no luck identifying any marriages.)

There's a Patricia R A Smart born in Wolverhampton in Sept qtr of 1941.

Hi, I'm looking for my mothers birth mother, Patricia b c1941, my mother born born in Watford in 1960, she was given up for adoption shortly after birth. Her birth name was Pamela Smart, there is record of a father, apparently her mother was in a mental home when she was born, and then met her husband Chris Hadden and had kids, Mary, Teresa, Anthony, Victoria and Andrew (possible born 1979).
