Yes Linda everything is saying he was youngest isn't it and if you look at how old Amos was when he died it points to that as he would have been in his 40's when George born so either there are two marriages or IGI date mistranscribed.

Also this website about the YMCA (which he founded) and another younger photo

http://www.ymca.ac.uk/library/intro_general_library.pdf

Born 11 October 1821. Everything I've seen says he was the youngest son.

Amos died in 1841. On 1841 census there is a George Williams (20) living in Dulverton with a Richard Williams (25). Do you think that could be him?

Not been able yet to find anything on IGI .
But you say he was youngest child I found this marriage and it dates to 1820 which would make him eldest so may not be right.

Hi to all researches offering to look up.
I'm looking for the sibblings names of Sir George Williams born 1821 Ashway Farm Dulverton Somerset to parents Amos and Elizabeth. He was the youngest child of many.
One of his sibblings is a relative to my williams tree.

Thanks
