Thank you ,Glitter Baby.I couldn't find their marriage on the Familysearch site but being after 1871 that's not surprising. What was Robert's occupation in 1891 please? If it is my Marion she's taken a wee liberty with her age. |

Hi Amanda,if you're still online-it occurred to me that the Agnes Hart,11 mo in 1871 ,may be Marion Ingles' baby as Marion's Mum was an Agnes.I'm wondering whether the census says whether Robert Hart is married, unmarried, widowed? Also please ,what was his occupation? Sorry for keeping you going like this but I'm really pleased to have found her again. |

That looks more promising ,Anita. You did well! Any chance she is still in the Hart household in 1881? |

Thanks for that,Anita-worth considering as both Marions started having their children sometime after the birth of Joseph in 1864. |

It's possible of course or they might have emigrated .When you're looking in the census ,Anita,is it possible to try Marion.......... born Biggar,1838 in case she married someone else? Thanks so much for trying for me. |

Thanks,Anita-all I know is he was married to a Susan Ferguson in 1850 in Edinburgh parish and they had a son William Stott in St Cuthbert's parish,Edinburgh in 1851.I'm thinking Susan may have died and he hooked up with my Marion but without marrying her.His parents were William Stott and Margaret Johnston and he was born 1825 in St Cuthberts parish. |
