However I am having no success with his wife Martha Bailey c.1837 (from later census).
She refuses to show up in IGI but I wondered if she might also be present in the same area in 1851 please?

I have now found

but I think he is probably nearer Elland. Does the 1851 show him with his family in Greetland/Barkisland area please?
