another brick wall .i finally found my relatives birth but just led to another hiccup.
james farley was born james andrew farley baptised 01/03/1798 in chertsey surrey his mother was leah farley and no father was listed.
there is on the igi a leah farley christened 17/12/1775 alford surrey but i am not sure if this is her.
there is no death or later marriage of leah or any other siblings born. there is just nothing i can find about leah or his unlisted dad.
james farley next turns up in ampthill bedford when he marries elizabeth knollys pulley. he was a draper then school master then librarian at guys hospital so he seems to have had a good education despite his being illegitimate.
i would like to discover info on his mum leah
