Hi Diane,

Can't find much more

There is a death for an Ann(e) Taylor 5.9.1787 infant

and another Ann Taylor 15.8.1784 infant.

Also you said that Stephen was baptised in 1723 Did you have that it was 1.9.1723 and that his father was Thomas and his mother Elizabeth?

I have had a look for a marriage of a Thomas Taylor and an Elizabeth but with no luck.

Also do you have the maiden name of Jane?

Hi Linda

Thanks for the further look for the Taylors, I think Jane's maiden name was Gronhurst,

The infant Ann who died 1784 was probably the daughter of Barnabas and Ann who was bap in July 1784. Not sure about the other one.

Yes I have Stephen's baptism, thanks

Hi Linda
Could you look up a marriage for Thomas Taylor b c1817 to Anne McAnally. Also Thomas' baptism. Thanks.

I wonder Diane if there is a relationship to Barnabas Taylor?

Hi Linda
I posted a look up request a little while ago and haven't heard anything. Sorry don't mean to badger but wondered if you had had any time to look up for me?
my original request was:

For marriage of Thomas Taylor b c1817 to Anne McAnally, their first child Mary Ann was b Cranbrook 1838. Also Thomas' baptism.

There is a possibility that they would have been catholics so obviously not there. If so you wouldn't happen to know where the nearest catholic church would have been at that time?

Thank you so much for your offer.

Hi Judith,

I am so sorry I hadn't looked at that post for a while.

I am just going out but had a quick look and found a Thomas Taylor married an Ann McNAULTY 30.4.1837

Sounds like the right one doesn't it. even though the name is slightly different.

I promise I'll get back to you when I come home later today.

Once again apologies.

Linda

I have PM'd you

Hi Liz

William Barnes married Harriett Rofe 4.11.1825

Witnesses Thomas Rofe and John Waters

I think John Waters was a 'paid' witness
as he seems to be a witness at every other wedding.!!

Also found these ROFE Baptisms

5.9.1790 Martha
17.2.1793 Mary
27.3.1796 Elizabeth
11.2.1798 James
27.4.1800 Charles
8.6.1802 John
2.9.1804 HARRIETT
9.11.1806 THOMAS (witness?)

Parents William and Susanna Rofe

Also found William Rofe married Susanna RUSSELL 15.2.1790

Hello

I would really appreciate it if you could check for a marriage for James Manwaring and Catherine Martin abt 1779. (any Manwaring marriage after this time would also be helpful if not too onerous)

Also for a Thomas Martin and Mary Newland abt 1745-1755

Many thanks
David Manwaring
