Oooooppppps

I have differing information .... Stanton St John, Oxford and Buckinghamshire - the family seem to flit between both places.

Sorry I can't be more specific.

Gloucestershire please
I am very stuck with a marriage between a William Hays (Hay or Hayes) / Mary in Gloucestershire round about 1800.

There is one in Bristol and another in Eastington but they are probably not mine.
They had a son william, cheltenham 1803 but that is the limit of the details.

Happy days

Hi Becky ...

There was one FROOME marriage at Beaminster:

01 SEP 1812 - William FROOME / Sarah DENNETT

and one for POOLE:

21 SEP 1810 - James POOLE, w. / Elizabeth TURNER, w.

Checking for GERRARDs, I found 20 marriages between 1756 and 1807 - too many, I'm afraid, to copy out and reproduce here! If you can be a little more specific re. dates and/or names then I'll be happy to find a few for you.

Hi Penny,

Middlesex: Acton

Looking for a William Beverton or Bevinton. It may be Acton as we have a birth registered there. Nearly all our Beverton's come from Middlesex

Many thanks for your time,

Best wishes,

Georgina

Hi Penny

Could you check to see if you have 2 marriages for James Colwell?

His married twice between 1794 - 1805.

I don't know the name of his 1st wife - his 2nd wife was called Ann.

James' parents were James Colwell and Margaret Murphy.

regards

Angie

Hi Penny,
no problem, it's not my Elizabeth but still could be a relative. Have made a note of it for future reference.

Thanks again for your help, Good hunting yourself and Happy New Year to you. Regards Lou

Hi Penny,

Many thanks for looking - it's good to know that they are there. I don't have the details with me at the moment, and may well take you up on your offer later, if that's still OK at that point!

All the best
