Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 22 Send Message	James Trafford,born in 1785 and baptised 11 /1 /1786 at st Mary's Macclesfield Cheshire,he was the son of James and Mary Trafford. I am trying to find more info about his father and mother as to when they were born and married etc.So that i can extend my family tree ,any help would be appreciated. Gordon

Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 17 Send Message	Hi Gordon, Can't help with dates of birth as of yet, but the Chesire register of marriages records (1771-1789) list a marriage between: James Trafford and Mary Dawson on the 27th July 1785. This could tie in with the date of James Jnr's birth? There are no other James Trafford/Mary marriages in this timeframe so I would think this is most likely the one. As to when they were born, average age of marriage was 18-22 so this could feasibly put their births at 1763-1767? Hope this helps!
