Hi Everyone

What a bright site we now have...i have not made up my mind yet if i like it or not.

Congrats on the gold medal as usual it takes the women to show up the men.

Our lot make to much of medals i think they all should be proud just to be in the olympics.
Can some one tell why I do not have my icons anymore ..is it the same for you guys to or just me.

We are looking after the 17yr old Grandson for a week while his parents holiday in Bali alls good so far.

Off to do the boys lunches for tomorrow....hope everyone is over the Party.

Arthur - glad some good has come out of all this upheavel

Why can't people keep their noses out -

Well all back home and back to work - see no-one won the 105 Million at the weekend then - rolled over to 119 now.

We can but dream -

Need to do a lot of exercise to lose all the weight from the vast amount of food eaten at the weekend - you certainly looked after us well Sue

Sally & Reece you can be offical decorators for all the parties from now on - the pool area looked amazing

Sylvia what were you doing in Iceland with Robert - or should I not ask
You certainly missed a good party.

My Oh has officially announced he thinks we are all raving - even though he kept up to speed with what was going on -

Evelyn how was the birthday weekend then?

Well back to work for me Take care all

Glad everyone enjoyed Saturday.

I am in one piece and back is intact. My nephew and his partner were great and we really did achieve a lot. what would take me weeks on my own took hours. I am feeling encouraged to continue, even if it means missing the Olympics live - can always watch the 'live' video' or the highlights. The BBC coverage is superb.

Everyone sad to see the area reinstated as a 'grass verge' - something it never was.

The exercise is good for me and I am concentrating on this benefit. Have my weight checked on August 7, and need to lose about 2 kg to achieve the weight at last check.

Yes, home again after a wonderful party - bacon butty? Yes, please.

Sorry we missed you Sylvia and Robert but sounds as though you had a good time in Iceland. Sylvia. My OH and older son had a wonderful holiday there a few yeas ago. There are some spectacular pictures on our photos but no captions! I have a book with a lot in so one day, when I have lots of time(?) I will caption them all.

Thank you Sue, have a rest today - glad everyone else arrived home safely and quickly, too.

It was lovely to meet old friends again - hope Evelyn enjoys her day today - it is also my younger son's 48th!

Love to everyone

I missed the party!!

The GPS on my broom played up ......... it sent me to Iceland!

I think the house elf had been playing around with it .... either that, or he was mad at me because I made him take a bath last week, and he changed the co-ordinates after I'd set them, and gone inside to get the cakes and things I was bringing to the party.

Never mind ................. I found myself near some lovely Hot Springs ..................... and there was a very friendly Icelander there ;-)

Looks as though the party was a good one.

zzzzzzzzz jet lag strikes again!

Must get myself motivated. Must get myself motivated. Must get myself motivated.

Motivated! :-D

Lovely day - hope there are not too many headaches around.

The new recliner and bed are very good. It took a little while for OH to get used to them, but he's okay now. I think he has tried to change channels by pressing the chair controls though...... :-D

Love to all. <3

Yawn - just arrived home - Oh called me a dirty stop out

Had a wonderful time Sue - it was a wonderful party just what we needed

Hope Arthur isn't too worn out today with all that work - at least it wasn't too hot a day to do it on

Evelyn how was your weekend - wonder what happened to Sylvia & Robert - they missed a fun day.

Cynthia forgot to ask how the new bed & recliner are - do you get to try them out? Hope your OH didn't mind you going to the party yesterday.

Looks like its going to be a lovely day here in the UK - pale blue sky & sun already at this time of day.

Will pop back later - take care all :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hi Everyone

What a nice surprise I woke this morning and there was not a dish in site.

Thankyou ladies ...it was a great night :-D.

The OH and myself have just had a bacon butty to with lots of coffee.....little bit of a sore head ;-).

I hope you all had a good flight home,

Going to watch the Olympics this afternoon...we don't get to see the finals of anything though as that all happens in the middle of the night for us....and I love all the swimming.

Plenty of food to pick at today,my brother and his family are staying a few days as well so all in all it has been a great weekend.

Drop in later tonight ...have a good day everyone .

Cynthia - think i will join you and wait for the dawn to come up

I love watching the embers going down on the BBQ - actually if we raid Sues fridge there may be some bacon there - just enough for breakfast for us all - bacon on the BBQ is fantastic and just lightly toast the bread or baps.

Sally, & Reece fancy a bacon butty before the journey home? I know Cynthia will join me

We can do the clearing up for Sue while she is asleep - be a nice surprise for her

Second star to the right and straight on 'til morning - dont fly too close to the Olympic park now.

Fantastic day - hopefully not too long before we can do it again

Take care all

Cynthia Report 28 Jul 2012 17:20

Can someone pat Sally on the back please? She's got a dreadful case of hiccups. Either that, or.........................too much wine?????? Just be careful Sally, we don't want you to be found drunk in charge of a wheelchair now do we??? ;-)

I remember that song Reece...........passing the tissues........I'm sure Evelyn may be needing some tissues today too........

The food has been wonderful - I've put some in the fridge in case Sylvia manages to make it here later on. :-D

Are there any lamingtons left --- I spy them, over there on that table. Yum.

Hey! I'm supposed to be cutting down you know.......and I still haven't made it to Reece's strawberries...........just on my way across the room........ouch, banged my toe........ :-(

So, Sue has gone to bed, the bbq is damping down so I think I will make a cup of coffee, wrap myself in a blanket and sit and watch the dying embers for a while.............soooo peaceful out here........

Sally i have the same problem - not been able to access the site since early this morning

Sue - have had a fantastic time -

Reece i love the music - no tears now unless they are happy ones..

Decorations look amazing and the food smells & tastes wonderful

I have eaten far too much - diet out of the window today

Evelyn - hope you had a wonderful birthday

Your cream and goodies went down wonderfully well

You must tell me what the Red was as it was lovely

Cynthia - has the jet lag got too much or is it the late night that got to you & Sally. I saw you both huddled down

Arthur - we have a lovely doggy bag for you - will drop it off on our way home.

Your house is amazing Sue - loved the lights aand the pool - we must pop back in the summer.

I loved the steaks - what wood & herbs do you use on the BBQ to give that wonderful flavour or was it the marinade.

Hic - sorry bit too much red - it does go well with the lamingtons.

Off to sneak a few strawberries and the Guernsey cream

back soon - if I can get back on the site
