Without your fathers name, no body will be able to assist you.

Next up ... an idea of location would help. (I can't identify Louise's own birth in the index.)

Any idea of middle name or initial would, too.

It might be possible, with those bits of data, to find whether he has since married, or at least find possibilities.

Louise, if you would reply by posting in the thread rather than by private message to other people, it would make the info available to anyone who could help.

... Ah, there's Louise's birth. Bolton. Was he originally from that area? No idea of his parents' names, brothers or sisters, other children ...?

Hope he hasn;'t had any subsequent children that may not know about his past that happen across this - could completely ruin everyones christmas.

Can his name actually be deleted now? - those looking know it - it doesnt need public display

And the other standard advice: a search for Adnrwe Usnwroth in trees at GR turns up a couple in the same general area and of about the right-ish age. Have you contacted the people with those Andrews in their trees, Louise?

Just put Adnrwe Usnwroth in the search boxes up at the top, and browse the results. You can send messages to the people who have any Andrews you're interested in by clicking on their names.

(see my post below about scrambled names)

I dunno ... people all over the internet post the names of biological parents/children they're looking for. I think that eliminating it here would be a drop in the ocean on that front.

Maybe once the thread has run its course, Louise could just delete the whole thing. It shouldn't have any ill effects in the next few days. ;)

Or -- we could all just edit it to spell it funny, like Adnrwe Usnwroth, and then google would never find it! How's that?? I'll go first.
