I am the granddaughter of Michael Dowson brn 1875 Byker and Mary Ann Sweet (Robson) Dowson brn 1878 Byker later lived in Hebburn.tyne and wear.they had George, Samuel, Eliza, Edward, Robert and William. Samuel married Agnes Hannen of Hebburn they had Peter (deceased) and Michael. Robert married Elizabeth (Lizzie) Dunlop of Hebburn they had Norma (deceased) and Alan now in Canada. William married Margaret (Dolly) Gray of Byker and had Margaret (deceased) Any help to trace some of these roots would be appreciated as i am now 80 and doing this for my grandchildren in NZ Mary (Stephens) Johnston |
