Hi Janice, the date I have for Florence Kate Willingham death is 20/05/1965 address given as 85 Tanys Dell Harlow age 76 but still can't find a link to Lily Maud Willingham, wonder if William Henry had been married twice and Florence Kate is buried with him.
What do you think could it be possible that Lily Maud mother may have been someone else

Gwyneth in Kent, Sorry my mistake Lily Maud Willingham was married on the 25th December 1941 at the age of 18 which would make her dob 1923, again sorry for the confusion I think I must have been having a meltdown

I opened the army records on ancestry site
gives marriage date and births . These births are not yet on the partial bmd's but are there if you can search full records.
Think Amanda will have to get 1st marriage cert. and see what that shows

I have checked births from 1927 back to 1914 the only Lilian M I have found is the one in Newport was one Lilian H E 1923 wisbeck mothers maiden name Meek but can't find a marriage record

The Lilian New port fathers name is Herbert mother May L Rainbow 2 other kids same mothers maiden name .
Janice where are you finding army info for William Henry I only found enlistment one do army births not appear on BMD index ?

If army records are the right family i see last child on army records was born 5th aug 1918 ,so looks like its after then. He was discharged 1919

me again did a marriage check for Lily Maud and Frederick for 1944 but drew a blank did 43 and 45 as well but couldn't find.
Did a birth check 1918 and found a Lilian M Willingham b newport P Oct-Dec vol 3a page 1367 mothers maiden name Rainbow

did a marriage check and herbert Willingham married May L Rainbow Newport P Oct -Dec 1916 vol 3a page 2005

will keep looking to see if I can find another Lily Maud but Willinghams pretty thin on the ground
checked 1926 and 1925 will now check back to 1918

Unfortunately the death record ( Colchester March Q.1982) doesn't help.
The informant of the death gave an estimated birth year of 1923...so it would be a case of keep looking through the births for the correct entry.

If she married aged 18 in 1944....her birth year would be c. 1926

To Patricia, Lily Maud Willingham was married in 1944 at the age of 18 which if true would make her dob 1918 she married a Frederick Leonard Harvey divorced him and in 1975 married a Francis John Burton in Colchester Essex she died inDecember 1981. I think she would have lived the most of her life in Essex some of it in Suffolk if I go by her marriage cerificate she was 63 when she died.Does this help Amanda

A Florence K Willingham was born 1914 April-June Mile End Old Town London vol 1c p 696
but when checking death records a Florence Kate Willingham b 1914 also died 1914 . Have checked for other births with mothers maiden name Tyler without success. Have traced Florence Kate Tyler back to her birth and parents also William Henry and his parents have also found his army enlistment paper when he was 18 occupation Butcher (he was 9 years younger than her.)

you don't say how old she was when she died that would give birth year or the county in which she lived
you also don't give your mothers name only her fathers and possible mothers so can't help much until you do Trish

help can anyone help me find my mothers birth date I know she died 28th december 1981 her fathers name was William Henry Willingham unsure of mothers name possible Florence kate, cannot find her birth date or my grandfathers dob or who he married and when.
