Barry Johnson - George Cross Recipient 1990

I am looking to trace my dad's brother Barry Johnson. Last known residence was in Plymouth.

He was awarded the George Cross in 1990 for his gallantry in defusing a terrorist mortar bomb in Londonderry, Ulster on the 7th of October 1989. The device detonated, causing him serious injury. Notice of his award appeared in the London Gazette on the 6th of November 1990. He was born on the 25th of January 1952 and entered the Army Apprentices College in 1967 as an Ammunition Technician.
He married Linda Maria Lane in 1971 and had two children Adele and Bevan.

It has been a long time and I would be really grateful if anyone has any details to pass on .

I have lots of photo's and would like to get in contact with my Uncle/Aunt & cousins again.

Any help would be gratefully received.

There is a lady called Jean on the Records Office board that has the 2007 electoral roll you could ask her

Donna, i see someone called Rosemary has possibly put both childrens names and mother Linda on search trees site, it might be worth a message to her to find out if its the right family
