Cannot find a marriage ! Help!

I am trying to find a marriage for my great grandfather Charles James Johnson born 1871, Deanshanger,Northants. I know her name was Annie Maria born abt 1872 , but I cannot for the life of me find a marriage between the two, which means I cannot find a maiden name for Annie Maria and continue her branch...

I am really stuck, would really appreciate any help!!

there is a marriage for charles james johnson in 1908 in kettering northamptonshire.
3b 423.
too early to show who he married.
he would have been 37
i will look for an earlier marriage

in 1901 census in the town of west stony stratford.
registration district potterspury CHARLES J JOHNSON AGE 30 deanhanger
ANNIE M AGE 29
ANNIE M AGE 9
CHARLES J AGE 7

i think this is your family.
possible marriage 1891, 1892?

Hi

Did Charles J Johnson have a sister Mary A Johnson c1884 Yardley Gobion?

She is with the family on the 1901 census.

I looked for her in 1891 and found one with her father Charles c1844 Yardley Gobion, Tramway Worker.

She does have a sister Annie c1872 Yardley Gobion.

freeBMD does have an Annie Maria Johnson born Mar 1872 Potterspury.
