Find Ancestors

Hi All

I am trying to find out more about my father. He was born Jack Tune to a Clara Tune, (b.1896-1929). his father was we believe John Bamforth, they never married! He was then adopted by a William and Florence Ackroyd, I think Willliam was born 1894, can't find death but I'm sure it was 60's or early 70's. Can't find birth for Florence ? Butler ?b Doncaster 1906 but not sure, no death record found.
All this takes place around the Doncaster Barnsley Mexborough area.
If anyone has any spare time and the facility to search I would be grateful
for any leads.

Don't really know Florence's maiden name so there's a challenge if you like one LOL!

I was interested in the Ackroyds as that is my maiden name (mnnn I know!)
