i am trying to find details of birth of James Allan c 1760 who married a Elspet Stephen b 1767 married on 24/3/1789 they had 8 children Elspet, Isobel, William, Anne, Alexander,Janet, Margaret and Robert. All I know about James is that he was a farmer . All children were born in Speymouth/Garmouth (Bellie and Garmouth) areas. Elspet Stephen's mother was a Marjorie Anderson but I don't have any dates. I would appreciate if anyone has any further details, I am descended from the Alexander who was a ppretisted to a Boot maker who was also an Alexander Allan any details on him would also be liked.
