Garlies married Agnes Caroline Scott in Singapore and there are four known children: Garlies Scott Allinson b 1855 Singapore Joseph Mactaggart Allinsn b 1856 Singapore Harriet Catherine Allinson b 1857 Singapore Annie Caroline Allinson b 1859 Camden NSW who married Sydney Spalding.
