Hi I'm trying to find out about my Nan's side of the family. Her mother's maiden name is Allnut & I can't seem to find out anything about this surname. It doesn't seem to be a very common name. My great grandmother is still alive at the age of 98!! & I would like to find out as much as I can before she passes away. If anyone has any information then please get in contact Thanks Sam

Hi Sam, I only have just come onto Genesreunited so I hope you are still active on it.

I have 1 Allnut in my Family Tree - she is Annie Allnut, born in Ascot Buckinghamshire in 1822.

She Married Henry Tucker born 1819 in Haddenham Buckinghamshire.

They had 5 children I can find Elizabeth, John, George, Charley and Emily.

They only relate to my tree via the Elizabeth Tucker.

Any further details if this seems to coincide with what you are looking for - then please let me know.

Regards Lee
