Smith connection???

Josiah Lane Oliver was given the address of 3 Browns Court on his baptism. Josiah Smith born 23rd Aug 1863 son of John and Elizabeth Smith!!!!!!!! was also given the same address and baptised on the same day as Josiah Oliver, John Smith was a Carman.

Think we need to trace the Smith family!!!!

I am even more confused, more than before, it looks like Ann may have had the baby but the baby may have been Johns child and Elizabeth occupier of the house, according to the cert kept the child after Ann baptised him knowing that Ann was to young to keep him OOOHHH!!!!

So who bought up Josiah Oliver?

Still trying to find the Smith family in 1871.... not having much luck though!

Dee x

gypsydescendant

gypsydescendant Report 6 Jan 2010 12:06

Dee try Josiah Lane as an adult that is the name he went by although he wasnt a adult then otherwise the Smith family may be the people who raised him then in that case you might find him in the census as Josiah Smith
