Michael 1861 and Harry [or Henry Ash] 1863 were Russian migrants who came to London with their sister Leah, her husband Israel Annenberg and their mother Sohpia in 1881. They changed their name from Aac to Ash and anglecized their first names too. Michael and Harry both moved to Wales in a bout 1882. Michael married Isabella Harris and lived in Abertillery - he was a pawnbroker there! He had May 1891, Bernard 1892, Victor 1898 and Montie 1900. Harry married Esther and had Mark 1890, Victor 1893 and Isie1895. I am the great grand-daughter of Israel and Leah and would love to find cousins in Wales. |
