Trying to find out about EDITH (MAY) ASHALL who married John William Hall on 8th April 1914. The marriage certificate shows her age 20 but no BMD entry can be found for her in 1893, 1894 or 1895. The census records appear not to mention her either. Her residence at the time of marriage was 2 Wighams Buildings, Rowlands Gill, Winlaton, County Durham. Her father is shown as John Ashall coal miner. Her mother is unknown. Edith May Ashall is my maternal grandmother. Thanks.
