His name was Francis Atkinson, he was born on 8th sept 1885 in Burnley Union Workhouse, his mother my great grandma was called Margaret and was unmarried so no fathers name sadly. He married my grandma Elizabeth Ellis july 2nd 1910 he lived in colne, lancs at the time and gran lived in nelson, lancs. My gran was born in Cannock and had brothers and sisters in and around colne and nelson. would dearly love to trace relatives. their birth name was ellis. i know one of my grans siister's married name was Dot Tierney she had a daughter called sarah mabel who in turn married someone called bishop ... she had one child called elaine ellis bishop.

thanks for looking and coming up with this info really do appreciate it. Am just going to have to sort out all my papers cos i just dropped them on the floor ... i had been given some info and know some names are different from what you just given ... just proves do not send off for certs in a hurry. not i just got to get this lot in some sort of order ... thanks

Been looking through papers i got ( wish they were in some kind of order) but am almost sure Margaret Atkinson my great grandmother parents name was Rushton, sorry to throw a spanner in the works so to speak.
